The 51% and Their Fight to the Top of Business
The AccessLatina Program, founded by Lucienne Gigante and Marta Michelle Colon, works as an accelerator for Latina lead startups. They began the program in San Juan where they fostered the startup of more than 30 women-owned businesses. Moving their work to the mainland, though, they held a competition and picked two winners through the AccessLatina program, both of which receive $25,000 grants and a six months mentorship through Georgetown University Business School. This program serves as a tool to help women succeed in the 21st century business world.
