Join us for the Hispanic Chamber’s 3rd Annual Small Business Symposium set for Wednesday, June 20 at the Pearl Brewery, 200 E. Grayson. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. followed by breakfast and the opening program at 8:00 a.m. to kick off the day’s activities.

This day-long symposium offers our membership and the entire community the education, networking, and hands-on sessions necessary to grow and add value to your business. In addition to the symposium, we are partnering with many local governmental agencies to bring you a “Meet the Buyer” expo, and will offer you the opportunity to get registered on-site at our event to bid on government contracts.

Chairing this year’s event are Hispanic Chamber Board Members Jane Gonzalez, President of MEDwheels, Inc. and Wes Baerga, Marketing Director for Vuepoint Creative.

We have a great committee in place that has worked to ensure the entire program is designed “by small business owners for small business owners.” The agenda planned will provide information targeted to the entrepreneur and those with businesses that are ready to grow.

We have a great list of speakers lined up to share their knowledge, personal success stories and best business practices.  Joining us this year will be April Ancira, Vice President of Ancira Enterprises, Magaly Chocano, Founder and CEO of Sweb Development,  restaurateur, Louis Barrios and David Spencer, President and CEO of Speer Medical Devices.

During the luncheon, Yolanda Garcia Olivarez, Regional Administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration, will highlight various opportunities available for small, minority and women-owned businesses through the Administration.

In addition, various sponsorship opportunities are available. The Small Business Symposium offers businesses a way to gain exposure for their company through a variety of sponsorship opportunities.  Sponsors will have the opportunity to market to their target audience during the business marketplace and throughout the symposium.   All sponsorship packages offer numerous recognition opportunities including logo placement in/on relevant marketing pieces, on event signage and in related publications.
