A Collaborative Partnership with the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Maestro Entrepreneur Center

Maestro Entrepreneur Center

Accelerating Business Growth

The Maestro Entrepreneur Center (MEC) brings together, in one creative learning environment, leaders of today’s most successful small businesses to mentor and grow tomorrow’s entrepreneurs.

MEC is a private, non-profit business center for the accelerated development of existing small, minority, woman and veteran owned businesses in the San Antonio Metro Area. Qualifying businesses will be provided office space at flexible rates and an extraordinary network of business leaders and resources to assist them in growing to the next level.

Unique to the Center are the “Maestros” — successful business leaders with experience in a variety of industries who offer one-on-one mentoring to Center clients to help guide them through business challenges.

“In 2016, the Hispanic Chamber will explore innovative strategies that furthers the success of our business leadership programs. One avenue that will  achieve this goal is our partnership with Maestro Entrepreneur Center – an extraordinary venue where members can receive professional assistance to grow their business.”

Rebecca Quintanilla Cedillo, 2016 Chairman

Research shows one of the biggest obstacles facing small business is the ability to sustain and build growth. MEC is designed to accelerate business growth by creating individualized programs based on assessment of each business, and prioritizing critical needs. Businesses are then matched with the needs-and-industry specific resources and Maestros that provide expertise, consultation, and training. To create an environment for success, businesses will be carefully screened and evaluated to ensure they are entering MEC at the appropriate time in their development. Their progress will be closely monitored according to the National Business Incubation Association’s recommendations for compliance.
