¡Felicidades! Latina Leadership Institute Graduate Annelise Gonzalez Appointed to The Nueces River Authority Board Of Directors by Governor Abbott


Governor Abbott has appointed Annelise Gonzalez, for terms set to expire on February 1, 2023 to the Nueces River Authority Board of Directors.  The authority shall administer the control, employment, and conservation of the waters of the Nueces River Basin, forestation and reforestation, groundwater, storm water floodwater, water quality control, solid waste, and parks and recreational facilities.

Annelise Gonzalez of San Antonio is the director of business development and community relations at San Antonio Board of Realtors. She is a cohort with the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber’s Latina Leadership Institute. Gonzalez received a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a Master of Public Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio.

The Governor additionally appointed Chad H. Foster Jr., Debra Young Hatch, Marshall Davidson, Howard “Tony” Wood, and William “Bill” Schuchman and reappointed W. Alston Beinhorn for the same term, as well as Karen Knolle and reappointed John Galloway for terms to expire on February 1, 2021.

 

These appointments are subject to Senate confirmation.
