Small Business

Small businesses play a vital role in sustaining the U.S. economy, and San Antonio’s economy as well. Your San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is here to assist small business owners and entrepreneurs through all phases of their business development. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, small businesses totaled 26.8 million in the United States in 2009. They represent 99.7% of all employers and employ 49.2% of the private-sector workforce. Small businesses employed 56.3 million workers in 2009 with most of the employment coming from firms with 20-499 employees.* |
We offer our members an array of services and programs, including business referrals, resources, trainings, contacts, networking opportunities and advocacy. We work to provide assistance to, and protection of, local small businesses involved with our Chamber while simultaneously communicating the value and importance of small businesses in general to our community as well as its impact on the economy. *Read full report from the U.S. Small Business Administration. |
