| A.J. Rodriguez

A.J. Rodriguez was appointed President & CEO of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on June 23, 2004. A.J. oversees the day-to day operations of the organization, is principally responsible for outcomes and results as outlined in the Hispanic Chamber’s strategic plan, and reports to a 31- member Board of Directors.
Under A.J.’s leadership, the Hispanic Chamber has achieved a 49 percent increase in membership and a 45 percent growth in total revenue, representing an unprecedented record for the organization.
A.J. was awarded the San Antonio Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” award in 2003 and the UTSA Young Alumnus of the Year award in early 2007. He recently completed a six-year term on the Central Catholic High School Board of Directors, and he currently serves on the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce Executive Committee and Board, JOVEN’s Advisory Committee, Texas Lyceum, and the City of San Antonio River Commission. He has also served as the Chairman of JOVEN and briefly on the Transplants for Children Board. Investment in our community’s youth is A.J.’s passion and was established after working many years as a Community Center Leader for the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department.
He has served as vice president at the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and managed the Public Affairs Council, which focused on government affairs, public policy and education related issues.
A.J. worked two years in the Public Affairs Department of Zachry Construction Corporation, where he performed analysis, strategy, management, and issues advocacy (lobbying) regarding the company’s legislative issues at the local, state, and federal level.
Prior to his work at Zachry, A.J. had previously worked at the Greater San Antonio Chamber for three and a half years, as vice president of Small Business, assistant vice president of Communications and Governmental Affairs, and editor of the company newsletter. He began his work there as an intern in the Executive Department.
A.J. graduated from Central Catholic High School (1990). He earned an Associate in Arts degree from San Antonio College (1995), a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (1998) specializing in International Business, and a Master of Business Administration degree (2000) from UTSA.
A.J. and his wife, Estelle, will celebrate their fourteenth-year wedding anniversary in December and they have three children, Alexandra, 10, Arthur John, 6, and Isabella Carolina, 2.

| Roxanna Garcia

Roxanna Garcia comes to San Antonio from Brownsville, TX where she grew up with her mother, Oralia Perez, and her three siblings. After graduating from Gladys Porter High School in 1996 as the third ranked student, she moved to San Antonio to begin her college education. In December of 2000, Roxanna graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University with a BBA in Professional Accounting. During her time at "the Lake" she was a member of the business fraternity, Delta Mu Delta and Epsilon Sigma Alpha, a service organization for women. In September of 2006, Roxanna received her Certified Public Accountant’s license from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
Roxanna is currently an active member of the San Antonio CPA Society and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She also serves on the Finance and Membership Committee of Vision SA, an organization of young professionals in San Antonio. Roxanna is also a participant of the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

| Aaron J. Seaman

Aaron J. Seaman serves as the Hispanic Chamber's Executive Vice President of Member Services & Support. He oversees the Hispanic Chamber's member services, communications, and special events departments.
With expertise in public relations, community affairs, media relations, and crisis communications, Aaron provides a corporate background and member-side perspective. Additionally, Aaron served as a board member for the Hispanic Chamber from 2001-2003 and again from 2004-2006. Recognized by the San Antonio Business Journal in 2001 as a Rising Star on the coveted “40 Under 40” list, Aaron is well-respected within the business community and among elected officials.
He possesses a unique combination of innovation and best practices from his experiences with Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas, Inc., KB Home, and inHOUSE Public Relations. An active member of the community, he has served as a board member for several nonprofit agencies, including Junior Achievement of South Texas, Communities in Schools of San Antonio, and the Southwest Mental Health Center. In 2007, Aaron served as the chair for the American Diabetes Association's Por Tu Familia Conferencia, and co-chaired the American Cancer Society's Fighting Cancer on the Links Golf Tournament. He is currently a member of the advisory committee for the San Antonio Area Foundation's South Texas Hispanic Fund, which promotes philanthropy and civic involvement among Hispanics.
Aaron is a graduate of Leadership San Antonio (Class XXIII), and has twice served as a member of the steering committee (Class XXV and XXXI). He is also a proud member of the Court for El Rey Feo LX Fernando Reyes, serving as El Rey's Administrative Minister. Aaron is a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word, and holds a BA in Organization Development.

| Yesenia Monsour

Yesenia Monsour joined the Hispanic Chamber in May of 2006, and is responsible for the Chamber’s advocacy efforts on the local, state and federal levels. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Yesenia attended the University of Southern California where she earned B.S. and Masters degrees in Public Administration and a B.A. in Psychology.
Highlights from her career include serving as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, Executive Director of the Buenanueva Foundation, Community Manager for the American Diabetes Association, Special Assistant to the Mexican Consul for Economic Affairs, and Training Coordinator for Arthur Andersen LLP. In addition, she has served as a consultant and project manager through her own company, Global IPC.
Yesenia, a first generation Mexican-American, graduated from the Hispanic Leadership Institute under HOPE (Hispanas Organized for Political Equality) and is a member of the Board of Directors for the USC Mexican-American Alumni Association. She has been honored with many awards including Hispanic Magazine’s Achievement Award, the Hispanic Women's Council Woman of Promise Award; General Motors Volunteer Award and the Free Trade Alliance SA Institutional Member of the Year. Yesenia resides in San Antonio with her husband Louis and three boys, Joseph, Andrew and Nicholas.

| Adriana R. García

Adriana joined the Hispanic Chamber in the Fall of 2006. Adriana is responsible for all internal and external communications at the Hispanic Chamber, including all media and public relations, publications, marketing, technology and telecommunications.
Adriana is a proud graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts in 2000, a Master of Arts in Communication Arts in 2002, and served as Chief News & Information Officer in the Office of Public Relations until 2004. Adriana is currently working on her Ph.D. in Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. She is the proud mother of Steve R. Garcia III, an aspiring Longhorn, Class of 2022.

| Ricardo Efrain Jimenez

Under Ricardo's direction, the Business Development department has seen a 142% increase in total attendance for all Access to People events. The department has also increased its available programming with the addition of the Healthcare Summit and a new format for their procurement pieces. Ricardo is a graduate of the Ohio State University where he received his BSBA in Marketing, Economics and International Business; during his studies, he was a member of the 2004 NCAA National Championship Fencing Team. Prior to working with the Hispanic Chamber, he was a Student Research Assistant for the Fisher College School of Business at Ohio State University.

| Danielle Sheldon

Since August 2007, Danielle has managed the coordination of all the Hispanic Chamber’s major events including seminars, networking mixers, receptions, and other Hispanic Chamber annual events. With an impressive background in the cultural arts, coupled with remarkable national and international event production experience, Danielle has made it her personal mission to continue to create opportunities where Hispanic Chamber members can grow professionally through memorable and useful events.
Prior to joining the Hispanic Chamber team, Danielle served as Special Events Manager for three years at the Alameda National Center for Latino Arts & Culture where she managed the logistical coordination of events for all three of the Center’s entities – Museo Alameda, Casa de Mexico, and The Alameda Theater. In this position she also coordinated press conferences, exhibition openings, exclusive events, public programming, and was integral to the team that managed the Museo Alameda’s inaugural and opening festivities.
Danielle is a 2006 graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts. In 2005, Danielle spent time at the Royal Academy of Arts in London serving as an intern in the department of Corporate Sponsorship & Events, where she assisted with corporate sponsorships, planning exhibition openings and private previews.
When she is not busy planning the Hispanic Chamber’s next big event, Danielle spends time with her family and continuing her passion for art.

| Rebecca J. Viagran

Born and raised in San Antonio, Rebecca was formally educated at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, where she received her Bachelor’s degree. She earned her Master’s degree in Public Administration from St. Mary's University, where she was the recipient of the University’s 2007 Presidential Award.
Prior to coming to the Hispanic Chamber, Rebecca spent 5 years in the University Ministry office at St. Mary's, where she also completed teaching a course on Personal and Academic Development that focused on developing servant and community leaders. Her work experience led her to Granada, Spain working amongst college students throughout the city. Prior to that, Rebecca served as a Council Aide to San Antonio City Council members working on constituent services, zoning and planning issues.
She spends her time in San Antonio as a leader in her Church, actively engaged in both the Catholic and non-denominational Christian churches. She enjoys speaking to classes on the importance of Higher Education and leadership development.

Jennifer is one of the Hispanic Chamber’s newest additions. She is a native of San Antonio, where she attended Burbank High School. Growing up with mom, dad, brother and sister, and currently raising a teenage daughter, Jennifer knows the value and importance of family.
Jennifer comes to the Hispanic Chamber from Palo Alto College’s Public Relations department, where she served as a member of the PACfest Committee and Staff Committee. She is an active participant of numerous volunteer organizations in San Antonio and has been involved with such community improvement programs as the Neighborhood Conferencing Committee and The Better Career Program. She is currently attending University of the Incarnate Word seeking her degree in Marketing. Jennifer’s responsibilities will be to serve as the point of contact for current Chamber members.

Jacqueline Guadiano proudly joined the Hispanic Chamber in December of 2007, as the Assistant to the President and CEO. Born and raised in San Antonio, Jacqueline is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Jacqueline has a clerical background and has worked for USAA and SAMA. When she is not working and going to school, she is busy raising her five year-old son, Sebastian.

Jacqueline Gonzalez is the newest addition to our Familia. Raised most of her life in Mexico, she now resides in San Antonio, where she has lived the last five years. She attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, studying Communications and Business, and has served on the board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation for four years. She has also volunteered with Special Olympics, Relay for Life, March of Dimes, and other non-profit organizations.

Martha Mina Luna joined the Hispanic Chamber in April 2007. Martha is a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word, where she completed a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Banking and Finance in the fall of 2006. Martha is an inducted member of two honor societies: Delta Mu Delta and Alpha Chi. She is currently a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs and the Texas Association of Certified Public Accountants, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Incarnate Word. Martha will purse a Certified Public Accountants License in the future.

Veronica Longoria started at the Hispanic Chamber in 2005 as an intern through the San Antonio Ambassador Program, a summer program designed to provide college students with work experience. She officially joined the Hispanic Chamber’s team in March of 2007 as the Special Event Assistant.
As the Special Event Assistant, Veronica is responsible for providing support and assisting in the planning and execution of all Hispanic Chamber events.
Veronica is currently a senior at The University of Texas at San Antonio. She will graduate with a degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations, and a minor in Business Administration. During her college studies, Veronica was a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America. Upon graduation she wishes to continue her work in special events, or in community relations.

Annette Garcia joined the Hispanic Chamber in March of 2008 as the Assistant to the Executive Vice President of Member Services & Support. Born in Galveston and raised in Poteet, Annette is currently pursuing a degree in Nursing.
Annette has over ten years of experience in the banking and mortgage industry, having worked for World Savings and Laredo National Bank. Annette is the proud mother of a beautiful five year old daughter, Courtland.
