Hispanic Chamber previews 86th Texas Legislative Session during Event featuring Texas Senate and House Representatives!

On Tuesday, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber hosted our Legislative Luncheon event at the Westin Riverwalk that previewed the 86th Texas Legislative Session with four prominent local members of the Bexar County delegation: Senator Pete Flores, State Representative Barbara Gervin-Hawkins, State Representative Diego M. Bernal, and State Representative-elect Steve Allison. Topics of discussion included education, small business development, among many others!

As part of this event, a preview to the second research paper on the role of women in the local economy, specifically focused on the impact of women entrepreneurs conducted by Drs. Belinda Román and Steve Nivin of SABÉR Research Institute was released. Click here to view the preview slides!
