The time is now for Texas entrepreneurs to apply for a chance at the big break they’ve been looking for! Now through April 30, Walmart is accepting applications for the 6th annual Open Call for products that support American jobs.
Open Call is a unique opportunity for companies with products that are made, sourced or grown in the U.S. to meet face-to-face with a Walmart buyer on June 19 at Walmart headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Here’s what San Antonio-based company Kleenhanz had to say about the experience. “San Antonio is Military City USA and, as a Marine Corps veteran, I am honored to serve as a success story for the Walmart Open Call process and to partner with a company that values veterans,” said Greg Carter, owner of Kleenhanz and a San Antonio resident. “Open Call offers anyone a chance to see their product on Walmart shelves and it has been an outstanding opportunity to have Kleenhanz, 100% alcohol free hand wipes, distributed nationally.”
Space is limited and the application portal closes on April 30. Supplier-hopefuls should visit Walmart-jump.com to apply.
Please find below/attached a press release that outlines additional details. Pending your editorial needs, we’d be happy to answer any additional questions or possibly connect you with a local supplier. If you are interested in speaking with Mr. Carter and with Anne Hatfield of Walmart, let me know.
