Girls Incorporated of San Antonio Unveils Little Free Libraries

Monday, July 7, 2014,  Girls Incorporated of San Antonio unveils little free libraries available to the community. Girls Inc. inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. In partnership with Silver and Black Give Back , the MVP girls (Mentors Valuing Peers) unveiled the new little free libraries that will directly benefit the community. These little free libraries will be installed at different locations in San Antonio with easy access to all kinds of books. Communities can borrow, trade or take books from the library.

We thank Girls Inc. for their support of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber and also the community. We wish them the best in their feature endeavors and we are excited to see the little free libraries around the city. Special thanks to the Girls Inc. team, Hispanic Chamber members, and elected officials such as Rebecca Viagran for speaking/attending the ribbon cutting.

Girls Inc. is also having a summer book drive! Donate new or gently used books now until August 15th. To learn more please visit their website.
