San Antonio, TX — Boysville, Inc. ( is pleased to announce that Steve Herlich has rejoined the “Texas Home for Boys & Girls” to cultivate long-term donor-partners. Steve comes with a wealth of experience in the nonprofit development field, having spent 20 years raising funds and friends for local children’s causes, including Boysville from 1997-2000. He previously served as chief advancement officer at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, and as chief development officer at Clarity Child Guidance Center. Steve earned an MBA at The University of Texas at San Antonio, and his bachelor’s degree in Biology and Philosophy at Trinity University.

Steve joins Boysville as Chief Philanthropy Officer to continue building supportive relationships among individual and organizational donors. Steve said, “I have fond memories of working with loyal friends of Boysville earlier in my career, and I am excited to return to such a respected charity in this new role. Boysville’s commitment to caring for children in need is stronger than ever, and the opportunity to connect with caring donors and volunteers is greater than ever.”

Founded in 1943, Boysville cares for boys and girls who cannot remain in their home due to abuse, neglect, or poverty.
