SAN ANTONIO, T.X. – Mayor Ivy Taylor and Councilman Roberto Trevino will join other housing, elected and community dignitaries to celebrate the grand re-opening of The Lofts at Marie McGuire. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 10, 2015 at 10 a.m.
The renovated downtown community for elderly and disabled residents is located two blocks south of the Alamo, at 211 N. Alamo. The 63-unit, six-story mid-rise in the heart of downtown San Antonio has recently undergone a $6 million comprehensive renovation.

Upgrades to the elevators, improved interiors, new appliances and a spacious community room are now highlights of The Lofts at Marie McGuire. Also, new fire sprinkler and safety systems include a refuge landing and stairwell that is accessible from every floor.
Mayor Ivy Taylor, City Councilman Roberto Trevino-District 1, SAHA Leadership, Department of Housing and Urban Development leadership and Residents of Lofts at Marie McGuire will all be in attendance for this event.
