San Antonio Businessman, Max Navarro, commits $50,000 to support Hispanic Chamber’s Annual Small Business Summit


The Hispanic Chamber is excited to announce that Max Navarro, Board Chairman of OpTech Corporation and Vutex Inc. has re-committed $10,000 each year for the next five years to put on this Small Business Summit event.  The 5th Annual Max Navarro Small Business Summit, San Antonio’s largest small business summit, took place yesterday, Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Freeman Coliseum Expo Hall (3201 East Houston Street).  There were more than 800 small business leaders and owners in attendance.

The Summit, named after Navarro, is uniquely designed by San Antonio’s leading small business owners and corporate leaders, and will offer participants the education, networking and hands-on training needed to grow their business in today’s economy. 

“Max Navarro has shown a strong commitment to ensuring the success of the Hispanic Chamber and the small business community through his generous contributions.” said Ramiro Cavazos, President & CEO of the Hispanic Chamber.  “He is a true testament to what a small business owner, such as the Summit’s participants, can achieve when provided with the resources necessary to continue growing their business.”

Navarro’s company, OpTech, is San Antonio’s first Hispanic-based scientific research company.  Since 1986, Navarro has grown his business into a world-renowned firm which has attained excellence through innovation, leadership, integrity, and exceptional client relationships.

OpTech employs highly qualified personnel throughout theUnited Statesand has teams performing all over the world.
