San Antonio International Airport is getting La Gloria Restaurant
The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate proud Chamber Member and owner of True Flavors, Chef Johnny Hernandez. Today, San Antonio’s City Council unanimously voted for the opening of a new La Gloria restaurant location in Terminal A of the San Antonio International Airport.
Johnny, through True Flavors, bid as a joint venture with Host International which will serve as the Prime Concessionaire. True Flavors is a certified Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) and will earn 35% of the overall concession contract. Host International and True Flavors (along with three other firms in the JV) received the most points of the four respondents.
The San Antonio International Airport is the gateway to our city and we are proud that True Flavors, and our friend Johnny Hernandez, has earned this opportunity to represent the community through their amazing food products and services.
“La Gloria is a place that was created to celebrate the rich and delicious street foods from interior Mexico. From tacos al pastor in Mexico City, tlayudas in Oaxaca, to cocteles de mariscos from Veracruz, Mexico’s street foods are as unique and colorful as its traditions, culture and people.”
