¡Viva Paella! Thank you to all who joined the Hispanic Chamber at the 8th Annual Paella Challenge!


On Sunday, March 26, 2017 more than 2,400 people gathered at Mission County Park for the 8th Annual Paella Challenge hosted by Chef Johnny Hernandez and benefitting his new Kitchen Campus non-profit.

The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is proud to serve as a founding partner of this great event and continue as a Marketing Partner. Special thanks to guest celebrity chefs Marta Pelaez and the Pelaez family and Winslow Swart for cooking paella with our Hispanic Chamber team and competing for the championship.

8TH ANNUAL PAELLA CHALLENGE WINNERS

CONTEMPORARY PAELLA
1st Place – William Rivera, Cured at Pearl
2nd Place – Jason Dady, Jason Dady Restaurants
3rd Place – Jean-Paul Bourgeois, Blue Smoke

MODERN CLASSICAL PAELLA
