Consumer Prices in U.S. Rise as Fuel Costs Increase


The cost of living in the U.S. rose in September for a second month, reflecting an increase in energy expenses that failed to trickle through to other goods and services. According to the Department of Labor, the consumer-price index increased 0.6% for a second month.
