San Antonio City Manager visits with Hispanic Chamber

Today, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business and Government Affairs committees joined to hear the San Antonio City Manager, Sheryl Scully, speak on the Fiscal Year 2014 proposed annual operating and capital budgets.  Sheryl expressed that the proposed budget is balanced, there is no city property tax rate increase, maintains current public safety staffing levels, continues funding for streets, increases funding for sidewalks and drainage, expands three senior centers, and focuses on neighborhood revitalization through code enforcement, animal care services and education.
