Last week, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce hosted the U.S.-Mexico Foundation and its trustee, Henry Cisneros, during an event that gave many local business and civic leaders the opportunity to learn more about the Mexican American Leadership Initiative (MALI) of the U.S.-Mexico Foundation (USMF).

The purpose of this event was to present the new initiative People-to-People, or P2P, by the MALI Council.  P2P is a project of MALI with the overall purpose of generating significant interactions and long-term relationships at a binational level between Mexicans living in Mexico, and Mexican migrants and Mexican Americans living in the United States.  The project will identify needs in Mexico and align resources of constituency groups in the U.S.
