Avanzar

The USHCC Avanzar Hispanic Business Enterprise Accelerator was founded in 2018 in partnership with USAA to provide small Hispanic and Latino-owned businesses educational training, guidance, counseling, and support through a year long accelerator program designed to help small scalable Hispanic Business Enterprises (HBEs) “Avanzar” or “advance” to take their businesses to the next level.

The application for Avanzar’s first cohort was launched in January 2019, in partnership with the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce in New Mexico and the Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Charlotte in North Carolina. Both chambers selected 10 program participants for the year long program, evaluating the current state of their business and charting their progress throughout the program. The USHCC serves as an advising partner and facilitator, creating the program marketing materials and providing introductions to potential speakers as well as networking opportunities.
