Karina Martinez, Co-Founder and CEO
Karina Martinez is the Co-Founder and CEO of DRAFTED, the leading Latina sports culture media platform since 2023. Rooted in her Paraguayan heritage, Cuban-American upbringing, and identity as a queer Latina, Karina brings a powerful, multidimensional perspective to the world of sports and culture.
A two-time founder and seasoned entrepreneur, she has built her career around elevating under-celebrated communities through storytelling, cultural innovation, and inclusive business strategies.
Her impact has been widely recognized. In 2024, she was named one of HOLA! Magazine’s Top 100 Powerhouse Voices, and in 2025, she was honored as the Hispanic PR Association’s Pioneer of the Year for her role in reshaping representation and influence across the sports industry.

Sandra Velasquez, Founder, NOPALERA
Sandra Velasquez is the Mexican-American founder of Nopalera, a modern Mexican beauty & lifestyle brand. She launched Nopalera in the middle of the pandemic from her Brooklyn apartment with no outside funding or savings while working three jobs and raising her daughter. The brand can be found in Nordstrom, Credo, Ulta Mexico and over 400 boutiques nationwide. She is the winner of six pitch competitions and has completed six business accelerators including Morgan Stanley and Stanford LBAN. In January 2023 she appeared on Shark Tank Season 14 where she infamously turned down two offers by standing in her worth. Velasquez authored her first book VIVA LATINA on Quarto books in September 2024.
๏ปฟPrior to launching Nopalera, she was the leader of Latin band Pistolera which toured internationally opening for artists such as Los Lobos and had her music featured on hit TV shows like Breaking Bad and the NPR Tiny Desk concert.

Dr. Marisol Weymouth , CEO and Chief, People Whisperer Solutions
Dr. Marisol Weymouth is a leadership philosopher, strategist, and global keynote speaker, born and raised in San Antonio, and a proud first-generation Latina.
She is the President and CEO of People Whisperer Solutions, a leadership, strategy, and change management firm celebrating its 5th anniversary this year.
With more than 30 years of experience spanning corporate leadership and entrepreneurship, primarily in male-dominated industries, Dr. Weymouth brings depth, practicality, and heart to every stage, boardroom, and partnership.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Weymouth finds joy and grounding in her family. She is married to retired Chief Master Sergeant Greg Weymouth, has two adult children, Jasmine Lee and Aaron. At home, she and her family are kept happily busy by their three beloved fur babies, Wyle, Sofie, and Redford, who add energy, laughter, and unconditional love to their lives.
