Día de los Muertos at Pearl

Time:  5 PM - 9 PM

Location: Pearl Parkway


Join us as Pearl once again honors Día de los Muertos with a vibrant community celebration. This year, the tradition expands into a two-day event, bringing even more opportunities to gather, remember, and celebrate loved ones who have passed. Expect colorful ofrendas (altars), live music and performances, children’s activities, art installations, and delicious food and drink throughout the campus. From festive workshops to roaming entertainers and a lively procession, there will be something for everyone to experience.

Sabores de México at Pearl: A Día de Muertos Celebration

Time:  4 PM - 7 PM

Location: Stable Hall Courtyard


This special experience blends storytelling, live-fire cooking, traditional gastronomy, and music – all wrapped in a vibrant Día de los Muertos atmosphere that pays tribute to Mexico’s ancestral flavors and cultural heritage. Día de los Muertos at Pearl takes place at Pearl Park and is an annual and vibrant community celebration that features ofrendas (altars) curated by local artists, a community altar, live performances, Catrin & Catrina contest, local vendors, and a communal procession at 7:15 PM throughout Pearl campus that honors memory and celebrates life in a luminous display of tradition.

Trinity University welcomes New York Times bestselling author Dr. Arthur C. Brooks to answer the age-old question, “What is the meaning of our lives?” Brooks will keynote the Distinguished Lecture Series titled “The Meaning of Your Life” on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Laurie Auditorium. Brooks is a professor at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Harvard Business School, teaching courses on leadership and happiness. He is also a columnist at The Atlantic, where he writes the popular weekly “How to Build a Life” column, and hosts the weekly podcast “Office Hours with Arthur Brooks.” This event is free and open to the public; registration is required.
