Learn2AI, San Antonio's City-approved AI training provider under the Ready to Work program, has launched the Learn2AI Builder Camp — the region's first live, instructor-led AI coding program designed specifically for kids and teens ages 10 to 16.

Learn2AI has been teaching San Antonio adults how to use AI professionally through workforce development partnerships with Alamo Colleges, UTSA, and Texas A&M San Antonio. The Builder Camp brings that same standard of instruction to the next generation — with one goal: making sure every San Antonio kid has access to the skills that are reshaping every industry, every job, and every opportunity. Students work directly with Claude, Anthropic's AI, to build a real working application over four live evening sessions on Zoom.

This is not a video course, not a worksheet, and not a pre-filled exercise. Kids build things that work — a bilingual chatbot helping Spanish-speaking parents navigate school forms, a homework helper that explains concepts in plain English, a study quiz tool a 12-year-old built for her entire class. Every participant leaves with a project published at its own live link and a diploma mailed to their door. The program concludes with a Family Demo Night where students present their work to family and the community.

Safety is built into every session. All interactions run on the parent's own account. No independent student logins. No personal data collected on minors beyond a first name and age range. A minimum of two live instructors on every call. No coding experience is required. The program is designed to be accessible to any curious child, regardless of background or prior experience.
